Swiss citizens who get into difficulties abroad, also can ask for advice and help from the Swiss representative.

The magazine for the Swiss Abroad appears six times a year and provides information about what is happening at home and the activities of Swiss associations abroad. It also answers administrative questions.

Using the FDFA’s online consular services while abroad.

The relevant Swiss representation abroad can answer any questions concerning the FDFA’s online desk.

Following the government’s measures to stop the spread of the Covid-19, on 23d of March 2020 Albania’s Civil Aviation Authority restricted international air travel to and from Tirana International Airport. Since then the only commercial carrier that remains operational is Air Albania.

Until further notice and decisions by commercial airlines, currently there are no flights between Albania and Switzerland. Swiss travellers who may be stranded in Albania are advised to register with the Travel Admin App.
