The Consulate General of Switzerland will be hosting the upcoming edition of the European Book Club in Vancouver and we are excited to bring you a book hot off the press!

"Elephants in our Yard" by Meral Kureyshi was just published in English in June 2022. This award-winning debut tells the story of a young women reflecting on her identity between two different cultures.

The book club discussion will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Charlotte Schallié, Professor and Chair at the Department for Germanic and Slavic Studies at the University of Victoria.
