Swiss Ambassador to Georgia Mr. Lukas Beglinger and Chairman of the Agency of Protected Areas Mr. Lasha Moistsrapishvili opened the first international hiking trail which connects Mamkoda to Saguramo. It starts from the village Mamkoda, passes through the Vejini Valley and finishes at the village Saguramo.
Camping area is also available along the trail. The distance can be covered in a day.
The financial support in the amount of 35'000 Georgian Lari was provided by the Swiss Embassy to Georgia; the trail was built by a non-governmental organization Green Borjomi.
