The Madách International Theatre Festival (MITEM) takes place from the April 14 – 28, 2015 at the National Theatre in Budapest. A versatile and varied program will be offered as part of the Budapest Spring Festival. With 20 theatre performances from Hungary and twelve other countries such as Switzerland, Spain, Italy, France and Russia, the MITEM promises to be a colorful and international festival. As part of the program “Swiss-Hungarian Friendship: Culture and Traditions in the Heart of Europe” the Theatre Vidy from Lausanne has the honor to open the festival on April 14, 2015 at 7pm with “Cinéma Apollo”, a production of Matthias Langhoff.
