Every year, the mountain town of Dharamshala comes alive for four days in November with a film festival where filmmakers and film lovers from India and the world come together in a joyous celebration of independent cinema. The 12th edition of the Dharamshala International Film Festival (DIFF) will present the Swiss film 'While The Green Grass Grows' by Peter Mettler on November 07.

The event is part of the 5th Global Science Film Festival, which is organized by the Swiss Science Film Academy. The screening and discussion will take place in Basel, Bangalore, Osaka, Mumbai, New Delhi, and Shanghai at the same time.
This event is organised within the framework of SwitzerlandIndia 75, celebrating 75 years of the signing of the Friendship Treaty between Switzerland and India.
