The Bauhaus is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.
Swiss painter, designer, teacher and theorist Johannes Itten (1888–1967) had an important inuence on the initial Bauhaus movement by building a basic education course at the school. In June, Prof. Yasuaki Okamoto (a former professor of Kyoto University of Art & Design) and a student of Kuwasawa Design School Tokyo will reproduce one of these courses for the general public.
