The Swiss Embassy met with representatives of KOMF Kosova (Coalition of NGOs for Child Protection in Kosovo) to discuss the many challenges related to child protection and the pandemic impact on children’s rights.
The Swiss Constitution spells out that “the strength of a people is measured by the well-being of its weakest members“. Guided by this essential governance principle, the Ambassador of Switzerland Thomas Kolly reiterates his call to the Kosovo politicians to ensure the provision of social services to the citizens and to adopt accordingly the draft law on local government financing in a timely manner.
