The Swiss Cooperation Office in the Republic of Moldova is seeking a qualified and experienced Vocational Education & Training (VET) Consultant

The consultant will be mainly seconded to the VET department of the Ministry of Education and Research (MoER). He/She will provide technical advice and assistance in view of ensuring implementation of the VET Strategy and coordination of external assistance.

Qualifications required:

  • University degree in education, social sciences, international relations or related field; 
  • At least 5 years of experience with international organizations in external assistance project / program management, monitoring and evaluation;
  • At least 3 years of work experience related to the VET sector or general education, including experience with donor coordination;
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the dual VET concept; 
  • Good knowledge of VET legislation and policies, as well as education legislation;
  • Gender and diversity competencies;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; organizational and management skills; ability to set priorities and meet deadlines;
  • Fluency in written and spoken Romanian and English; good working knowledge of Russian;
  • Very good computer skills.
