On 15 October 2020, Federal Councillor Ignazio Cassis had an official meeting in Oslo with Norwegian Foreign Minister Ine Eriksen Søreide. The head of the FDFA and his counterpart praised the excellent relations between Switzerland and Norway. In addition to the bilateral relations, they also discussed in particular the relationship between the two countries and the EU, as well as their close cooperation in the framework of EFTA and the UN.
