Both the Director as well as the Ambassador concluded that the cooperation between the embassy and PKS is excellent, notably in the field of dual education. As part of the current 2018 – 2021 cooperation program, Switzerland is focusing on promoting inclusive and sustainable economic development. Of particular importance is the support for the provision of market-oriented skills development and thus better training and job opportunities for the Serbian population.

The Ambassador confirmed that sustainable and inclusive economic development will also be a priority in the cooperation program 2022 – 2025, which is currently being drafted. The fact that Switzerland and Serbia can celebrate the 30th anniversary of bilateral cooperation this year also proves that Switzerland's commitment is long-term and enduring.

On the occasion of the meeting, it was finally decided in concrete terms that PKS will support the Swiss Embassy together with other partners in organizing a clean tech exhibition in September 2021. The exhibition essentially pursues three goals:

To create a dialogue between Swiss and Serbian key representatives on the topics of sustainable economy and environmental protection;
To draw attention to Swiss and Serbian Clean-Tech solutions that can help mitigate climate change and environmental challenges;
To promote Swiss and Serbian Clean-Tech-Start-Ups and to foster bilateral collaboration in the Clean-Tech-sector.

The Ambassador and the Director are convinced that this exhibition will be an ideal kick-off for further cooperation in the increasingly important field of clean tech.
