The event gathered representatives of twenty supported civil society organizations from Serbia.  In the previous six to twelve months, these CSOs have realised local advocacy and engaged with local authorities. This led among others to the adoption of youth strategies/policies, an increase of representation of women in local community councils, progress in the areas of environment and social entrepreneurship, as well as on improving the position of people with disabilities, children with rare diseases and people suffering from dementia and other topics of importance for citizens.

Guests were addressed by Mrs. Melina Papageorgiou, Head of Governance of the Embassy of Switzerland and Mrs. Snezana Misic Mihajlovic, international team leader of the ACT project.  They both highlighted the achievements of grantees who managed to initiate changes in their local communities and contribute to improving the quality of life of their fellow citizens.

After the presentation of the results and the awarding of certificates of appreciation, a panel discussion was held on the importance of mentoring support and strengthening the capacity of the associations during the duration of the projects, which was provided in partnership with the Trag Foundation. Mr. Boban Stojanovic, mentor for youth policy projects, Mrs. Snezana Stojanovic, mentor for social inclusion projects and Mr. Vladimir Radojicic, mentor for environmental protection projects took part in the discussion. They talked about lessons learned, best practices and challenges in the process.
