The World Design Capital (WDC) is designated by the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design (Iscid) every two years to recognize a city’s innovative use of design for economic, social, and cultural development. Taipei City has been named WDC 2016 and among the many events planned, the Trade Office of Swiss Industries will participate with a Swiss booth at the “International Design House Exhibition” with Vetica Group AG as a co-organizer. The exhibition will take place at Songshan Cultural & Creative Park’s International City Pavilion No. 2 (warehouse 4) from the 13th to 30th of October. Entrance will be free of charge. “Smart Living – Swiss Origin” divided into two sections: “Swiss Touch in Landscape Architecture” and “Human-centric Design and Life” will be the contents displayed at the Swiss booth.
