Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) and Forestry Bureau (FB) announced their joint collaboration with Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGBahn), a Swiss railway company, and its affiliated mountain line, Gornergrat Bahn (GGB). The signing ceremony of this international partnership was witnessed by Chief guest Mr. Chang, Premier of the Executive Yuan, and Director of the Trade Office of Swiss Industries, Rolf Frei, and took place on Friday, May 6, 2016, at the lobby of Taipei Main Station in Taipei. The alliance aims to promote the railway tourism business and also to encourage a mutual exchange in technical fields and talent training knowledge. This significant project is a new bridge of friendship between Taiwan and Switzerland.
