Co-organized by this Office and the Swiss Publishers’ Association (Schweizer Buchhändler- und Verleger- Verband SBVV) and supported by Pro Helvetia, we had a significant Swiss presence at the Taipei International Book Exhibition with a considerable increase on the booth size. Seven Swiss Editors travelled to Taipei to introduce their books to an interested public. The Swiss booth was very successful and showcased a wide selection of books varying from design to children’s books which made it an important platform for Switzerland’s cultural presence. The Exhibition was opened by Vice-President Chen Chien-jen and Culture Minister Cheng Li-chiun.
