In the year 1972 in Paris, MUMMENSCHANZ was founded by three young people who had lived an enriching period in the sixties and undergone a three-year experimental practice in different disciplines. The trio started soon to develop a new form of mask-theatre to tell stories beyond the boundaries of language and culture. No musical tracking, no stage set. Only mask-objects and object-bodies evolving against a black background thus composing a playful language that can be understood by all. Since then, MUMMENSCHANZ has been continuously inspiring audiences around the world with their wordless but extremely poetic art. After a rejuvenation process, MUMMENSCHANZ has been touring since December 2016 with their new program "you & me". As part of this tour, the Swiss theatre company will come to Taiwan for two representations in Kaohsiung at National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying). The representations are scheduled for the 30th of November and the 1st of December 2018.
