The Equipment and Logistics section of the Humanitarian Aid (H-Log) is responsible for managing, maintaining, and acquiring technical materials and personnel for all humanitarian missions.
HA Equipment and Logistics
The H-Log section coordinates mobilisation and deployment of rescue teams and shipment of aid materials. It is the centre of expertise for questions concerning logistics, international maritime, and air transport. It operates a round-the-clock service during emergency aid missions.
The H-Log section has considerable expertise in the areas of materials used in the context of medical care and chemicals, rescue equipment, vehicles, machines, information and communications technologies, and measuring equipment. H-Log's activities are not exclusively limited to humanitarian aid, since it also provides for other units within the SDC and the FDFA.
