Innovative Vector Control Consortium (IVCC)
Project completed
Vector control is a fundamental element of the existing global strategy to fight malaria and several neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). The current front line interventions are dependent on a very limited number of insecticides, which are under threat from insecticide resistance. IVCC drives the development of new vector control tools. Supporting IVCC will strengthen SDC’s position in vector control and support to private-public partnerships as well as strategically complement its global health portfolio.
