Call for project proposals under the Promoting Young Scientists in Central and Eastern Europe (PROMYS) launched

The call for project proposals under the Promoting Young Scientists in Central and Eastern Europe (PROMYS) component of the Swiss-Bulgarian Research Programme officially was launched on Monday, August 21. 

The Swiss-Bulgarian Research Programme as part of the second Swiss contribution to Bulgaria is implemented jointly by the Swiss Research Foundation (SNSF) and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Bulgaria.

PROMYS is aimed at researchers who worked in Switzerland for at least one year during their doctoral or postdoctoral phase, and who now aspire to an assistant professorship in Bulgaria. Researchers with three to six years' research experience since their doctorate can submit an application. Either to be eligible, they need to have worked for at least three years in one of the EU-27 countries or in Switzerland, or they must be nationals of one of the above-mentioned countries.
