The Consulate General of Switzerland in Vancouver invites you to a virtual panel discussion on "Women in Diplomacy".

Join us on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 12pm noon PT

The event takes place as part of the 50th anniversary of women's suffrage in Switzerland and will look at the history of women's suffrage in Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Canada and the province of British Columbia. The panelists will also discuss the role of women in diplomacy and what measures need to be taken today and in the future to encourage young women to pursue a career in diplomacy.

  • Nicole Davison, British Consul General in Vancouver
  • Henk Snoeken, Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Vancouver
  • Lara Campbell, Professor, Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies, Simon Fraser University
