Establishment of the Association of Advanced Politekniks Indonesia
The Association of Advanced Politekniks Indonesia is a platform organization of Indonesian Politekniks and industry companies which implements skill development concepts, in analogy to the dVET systems in Switzerland and other European countries and with the objective to promote skills development.

|Background||In such a platform the schools are taking care of the theoretical part of the education and the industry (companies hiring apprentices) is providing for the practical part. The state has regulatory and financing functions. According to the project's concept, its establishment shall be achieved through a multistage process, where industry companies shall be offered by the Politekniks skills development services needed, focusing on technical industries.|
