Federal Councillor Ignazio Cassis will travel to New York on 23 January 2024, where he will take part in an open debate at the UN Security Council on the situation in the Middle East

On January 23, 2024, Federal Councillor Ignazio Cassis will take part in the high-level debate initiated by France, initiated by France in the UN Security Council on the situation in the Middle East. Under the French Presidency and at ministerial level, the aim of the Council debate is to contribute to concrete progress towards a political, security and humanitarian solution to the crisis in the Middle East.

Federal Councillor Ignazio Cassis will take advantage of his stay at the UN headquarters to hold several bilateral meetings.
