Personal appearance and appointments
Kindly note that personal appearance is only required for applications for family reunification.
Applicants shall first gather all the necessary documents (please see “Which documents should I submit with a Schengen visa application?”). Afterwards, please contact the Embassy by email (caracas@eda.admin.ch) for further instructions.
The processing time for a national visa is approximately 8 to 12 weeks. In specific cases, the processing might take longer.
