RPSA HIV/Aids Prevention Programme
CSDC’s contribution to HIV responds directly to the SADC HIV and AIDS Strategy and the Framework on Orphaned and Vulverable Children 2008-2011 with a clear objective to implement Sexual and Reproductive Health policies for children and youth. The overall goal is to contribute to decreased incidence of HIV infection and improved quality of life through change of behaviour among adolescents and young people living in eight countries of the southern African region. Through the programme, it is expected that young men and women will have increased knowdedge of how to prevent HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections and adopt safe sexual practices and behaviours. The intervention seeks to influence traditional leaders, communities to find solutions together with youth in curbing HIV.
