Fondation Terre des hommes is an independent, neutral and impartial Swiss organisation dedicated to achieving meaningful and lasting change for children and young people, particularly those most at risk. It works in 25 countries, including in fragile and conflict-affected settings, linking humanitarian response with development and peace promotion. Its focus on maternal and child health, childrend and young people on the move, and child friendly justice is highly relevant for the implementation of the Swiss IC strategy 2025-2028.

Caritas Switzerland combats poverty and provides relief assistance in 15 countries affected by disaster and crisis, while combining humanitarian aid, development and peace building. It has strong roots in the Swiss populationa nd collaborates with various Swiss actors from academia and the private sector. The organisation's international programme focuses on Income, Climate Change and International Migration- three domains that are highly relevant in the implementation of the Swiss IC Strategy 2025-28.

The Swiss Red Cross promotes equal access to healthcare particularly for people most at risk. It supports disadvantaged people and communities in disaster preparedness, response and recovery. It also engages on international migration. SRC’s main priority is to strengthen relevant Sister National Societies to become effective local actors, tackling humanitarian and development challenges. SRC’s work is highly relevant for the implementation of the Swiss IC Strategy 25-28, including on human development and climate.

HEKS/EPER, through its partners, works on inclusion, equal rights, peacebuilding, and resilience. It empowers people to overcome disparities and reduce poverty. The main focus is on the right and access to land and resources and their sustainable management, the right to food, agro-ecological production, inclusive markets, climate justice and humanitarian aid. Through this programme, HEKS/EPER focuses on domains that are highly relevant for the implementation of the Swiss IC Strategy 2025-28.
Core Contribution to Swiss Personnel Development Cooperation of UNITE 2027-2028

UNITE is a Swiss umbrella organisation with 13 member organisations engaged in Personnel Development Cooperation (PDC). The UNITE programme 2025-28 brings together the contribution of nine members to the implementation of the Swiss IC Strategy 2025-28 and the SDGs by strengthening and empowering local organisations in the Global South, in particular through the assignment of qualified, voluntary professionals. UNITE has developed Swiss PDC standards and contributes to developing international PDC guidelines.

MSF Suisse (MSF-CH) provides medical humanitarian aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics and disasters or excluded from health services. It ensures access to sexual and reproductive health, paediatric care, surgery and WASH. It responds to epidemics, and treats non-communicable diseases and conditions, including mental health. It focuses on strengthening local healthcare and improving medical protocols and advocates for action on neglected crises. Health and humanitarian aid are important pillars of the Swiss 25-28 IC strategy.

Helvetas is active in 35 countries with over 300 projects mostly in Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe, Helvetas combines three closely interlinked areas of work: it implements development and humanitarian aid projects, provides sector-specific advice, and engages in advocacy and policy dialogue thus covering domains that are relevant in the implementation of the Swiss IC Strategy 2025-2028. Helvetas has experience in the nexus of development and humanitarian work with a vast network of national and international partners.

The Alliance aims to empower communities by improving their working and living conditions, and by strengthening civil society and the resilience of communities affected by disasters.

CBM and FAIRMED, both focus on health and disability inclusive development. They join forces in the LNOB Alliance, building on Leaving No One Behind as the central and transformative promise. The alliance supports the agency of the most marginalised communities, including persons with disabilities, to exercise their rights.

Most migrants nowadays live in cities, and their socio-economic inclusion and protection are central for sustainable development. The programme supports cities to plan for and create inclusive, prosperous, and resilient communities. It gives city actors a voice in regional and global debates on migration, and is powered by the continued, strategic collaboration with the Mayors Migration Council and Cities Alliance, linked with longstanding Swiss expertise and rooted in SDC's priorities.
