The bilateral Framework Agreement foresees the possibility of utilizing approximately 1.5% of the total allocation to cover certain management costs in the beneficiary country. The technical assistance will support the submission of qualitative projects, transparent processes, and a good visibility of the Swiss Contribution in Romania.
 

Survey of key bird species

The project aims at protecting over 50 key bird species as well as their habitats in the Polish Carpathian Mountains through a comprehensive inventory as well as analysis and preparation of the respective data for its use in forest management and agriculture. In addition, a long-term monitoring system will be established and the awareness of the local population for the need of protection measures will be increased.

En 2011, el gobierno georgiano ha convertido al desarrollo de la agricultura en una prioridad nacional. Con este proyecto de desarrollo económico en zona rural, la COSUDE tiene por objetivo hacer que disminuya la pobreza en la región de la Kvemo Kartli y mejorar la vida cotidiana de cerca de 4000 familias aumentando tanto la productividad como la calidad de la agricultura local.

Strengthening Voice and Accountability in Kyrgyzstan

The project intends to develop capacities of Local Self Governments to provide better public services and adequately respond to the needs of citizens, during a period in which decentralisation is high priority on the Kyrgyz agenda. In line with the Government’ decentralization strategy, the project will ensure policy dialogue on all levels to facilitate the adequate delegation of power and secure financing of Local Self Governments. By developing capacities and providing trainings the project will contribute to the empowerment of rural communities and LSGs.
