Better Work Phase III

Better Work, a partnership of the International Labour Organization and the International Finance Corporation, improves working conditions and respect for labour rights in the garment industry, as well as productivity and competitiveness of apparel businesses. It provides services at factory level to improve compliance with national and international labour standards, facilitates better buying practices in the sector and works at the policy level to improve overall working conditions in global supply chains.


Electronic and Digital Financial Services in Azerbaijan and Central Asia

The Azerbaijan and Central Asia Mobile Money Project (ACAMM) seeks to improve financial inclusion and financial resilience by increasing access to low cost mobile financial services to the un(der)banked. ACAAM is implemented by the International Finance Corporation and co-funded by the UK's Department for International Development (DFID).


Umbrella Facility for Trade and Development

The Umbrella Facility (UF) for Trade, a Multi-Donor Trust Fund for Trade and Development, supports analytical trade work across the World Bank Group (WBG). It is implemented by IBRD/IFC, one of the biggest institutional supporter of analytical work and capacity development on trade within the WBG.


African Tax Administration Forum, Phase III

General Budget Support to Burkina Faso (2017-2020)

SECO is a long-standing partner of Burkina Faso in terms of general budget support. The aid is accompanied by targeted technical assistance. Together with other donors, SECO will support full implementation of the new National Economic and Social Development Plan with a budget support grant in the amount of CHF 30 million for the period 2017-2020.

The SECO Start-up Fund is a debt vehicle that provides loans to Swiss-based individuals or small enterprises for the purpose of launching a business in Swiss partner countries. The SECO Start-up Fund is fully owned by the Swiss Confederation and consitutes an instrument of the Swiss Economic Cooperation and Development programme.
