Inclusive Green Growth in Egypt - IGGE

The project will contribute to market system development of the bio-based and agri-food, circular and sustainable energy value chains in Luxor, Qena, Sohag and Beni Suef (with a particular focus on women and youth). This will be done through capacity building/upskilling, creation of market linkages and integration of sustainble practices and policies to reduce poverty, mitigate climate change and reduce environmental degradation.


Projet d’appui à la sécurité alimentaire et nutritionnelle (PASAN).

Le Burkina Faso vit une crise humanitaire, caractérisée par une insécurité alimentaire et nutritionnelle accrue et une dégradation des moyens d’existence des populations, particulièrement les personnes déplacées internes. La Suisse, par son soutien au mécanisme national de sécurité alimentaire, contribue à l’assistance alimentaire et nutritionnelle permettant de sauver des vies et protéger les moyens d’existence de 130’000 personnes.


Migration de main-d’oeuvre en Afrique de l’Ouest, Phase II

En Afrique de l’Ouest (AO), la migration est majoritairement intra régionale. Malgré son rôle crucial pour le développement, elle reste peu réglementée. La plupart des travailleurs et travailleuses migrants travaillent dans l’informel, exposé(e)s à des abus et à l’exploitation. La Suisse s’engage en faveur d’une migration plus sûre, plus inclusive et plus équitable au sein de la région, veillant à ce que la migration contribue à la prospérité de la région.


Ageing and Health in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Economic hardship, inadequate healthcare without assisted living, limited social services and societal biases exacerbate isolation and difficulties of older people in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project supports the efforts of the Swiss Red Cross to introduce and scale up sustainable active healthy ageing services and affordable home-based care for older people. The latter are provided by the national Red Cross in cooperation with their local branches and municipalities.


Programme d’Appui à la Résilience Climatique – PAR C

La Suisse contribue à renforcer la résilience des populations vulnérables du Mali face aux effets du changement climatique. Le programme appuie des approches agroécologiques, promeut l’autonomisation économique des femmes et des jeunes et favorise une gouvernance équitable des ressources naturelles. Dans un contexte fragile, cette action s’inscrit dans le soutien à des initiatives existantes, pertinentes et fondées sur des résultats éprouvés.


RAAYI: APPUI AUX MEDIAS DU NIGER PHASE 2

Les médias, en particulier la radio, jouent un rôle clé dans le contexte sociopolitique et sécuritaire complexe du Niger. En appuyant ce secteur, la Suisse favorise l’accès des populations à une information fiable et adaptée aux réalités locales. Elle contribue à contrer la désinformation, à promouvoir un journalisme éthique et à encourager une participation citoyenne inclusive et engagée tout en tenant compte des défis du secteur.


Support to Inclusive Political Dialogue

01.08.2025 - 31.07.2026

Amid rising political tensions and declining trust between key political actors, this intervention contributes to democratic governance, conflict prevention and the respect of human rights in Tanzania by supporting the Tanzania Center for Democracy (TCD). The latter will facilitate inclusive political dialogue ahead of the 2025 general elections, contribute to civic and electoral education, and enhance women and youth’s political participation. Co-funded with the Irish Embassy, the project promotes peaceful, participatory and credible electoral processes.


Oholo II - Scaling MSMEs through BDS providers

The project aims to increase economic opportunities especially for youth and women in northern Mozambique by promoting the growth of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This will be achieved by strengthening the capacity of Business Development Services providers, which support MSMEs to improve their business and financial management practices as well as their access to markets and financial services. 


Cholera Response Project, Single phase

Cholera is an endemic public health challenge in many northern Mozambican communities, with high rates of illness and death. With this project, Switzerland aims to reduce cholera incidence, morbidity, and mortality in targeted intervention areas by strengthening prevention and improving case management. This will be achieved by enhancing community awareness and hygiene practices, building the capacity of relevant local authorities, and strengthening disease surveillance and rapid response systems, thus allowing more effective reaction to sudden outbreaks.


Strengthening the Protection and Resilience of Vulnerable Refugees through targeted Multi-purpose Cash Assistance (MPCA) in Moldova

The  intervention, implemented by UNHCR, ensures continued multi-purpose  cash assistance to the most vulnerable refugees from Ukraine in Moldova to help them meet their basic needs and reduce protection risks. It addresses critical gaps  by offering immediate assistance and contributing to the gradual inclusion of refugees in national protection services.  


Private Sector Partnerships in Health (PSPH)

01.08.2025 - 31.07.2029

The programme aims to provide better access to affordable and quality health services. This will be through development and support of health financing products (health insurances) for the mass market to reduce high out of pocket payments and the support to health service delivery through health networks of private sector providers. This mandate is promoting affordable service provision to the population, which also feeds into the development agenda of Somalia of working with the private sector to promote sustainability in development.


SSD, Inkomoko: Financial Inclusion and Business Growth

01.08.2025 - 31.01.2028

The project intends to improve social integration and economic self-reliance for displacement affected people and host communities in Gorom and Mangala area in Juba County, South Sudan. This intervention, which is being  implemented by  Inkomoko will  focus on market-led private sector solutions that strengthen  local micro small & medium enterprises (MSMEs) by providing access to inclusive finances (loans), coaching and mentoring, especially for women and youth.
