SeCompetitivo III aims at supporting Peru in improving the competitiveness of its private sector, thus contributing to sustainable and inclusive economic development. PEFA is a global public good, which SECO has helped to establish and develop since the beginning in 2001. Donor financing ensures the maintenance and continued development of the framework.
The Swiss Tourism for Sustainable Development Project (ST4SD) in Vietnam aims at making Vietnam’s tourism sector more sustainable and inclusive. It supports the preparation of relevant policies and strengthens public-private dialogues at both national and subnational levels in close collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Switzerland is a long-standing partner of public water supply and wastewater management services in the Western Balkans. The second phase of the Regional Capacity Development Network (RCDN+) will support an enhanced collaboration of water utility and local government associations, with the aim to improve water sector policies and services.
The IFC Agribusiness Blended Finance Facility for Ukraine aims to facilitate urgently needed working capital for farmers and agricultural SMEs. It will do so by de-risking lending to the agricultural sector via first loss guarantees. The project builds upon the existing market for crop receipts supported by SECO and IFC.

Phase 2 of CICLIA aims to strengthen project pipeline development and project implementation that help realize transformative adaptation in Africa.
SECO-EBRD Solid Waste Management Project aims to establish an integrated SW management system in North Macedonia to reduce negative impacts on the environment and promote circular economy. SECO’s contribution will support technical assistance at national, regional and municipal level and investments in upgrading SW infrastructure in Polog region.
The programme supports Peru in the implementation of a stronger, more predictable and effective PFM system, that is consistent with OECD international standards and serves to improve the transparency, accountability and effectiveness of public spending.
The project builds on results of the previous phases and assists Serbia’s local governments in reaching the next level in their efforts to become more effective and accountable by introducing Managerial Accountability and Performance Management. It continues to improve Internal Audit, Financial Management and Control and oversight of fiscal risks.
