Mekong Urban Resilience Phase II

The project aims at increasing the climate resilience of cities in the Vietnamese Mekong Delta by supporting a) the regulatory framework and b) organizational mechanisms for integrated regional planning, as well as c) the implementation of important flood resilience measures in selected cites of the Delta.


Strengthening Quality of Auditing and Reporting, Albania, Phase III

Global Program on Sustainability

While the importance of natural wealth accounting to counter the depletion of natural capital is analytically well established, its uptake by public administrations remains limited. This program helps countries to use sustainability and natural capital information in their decision-making and create incentives for sustainable financing.


Swiss Program on Capacities for Trade Policies

The program will support government capacities in trade policy making in developing and least developed countries. Through this support, beneficiary countries will be better placed to provide favourable framework conditions to engage in inclusive and sustainable trade, thereby contributing to economic growth and greater resilience.


Crop Receipts Project Ukraine, Phase II

01.12.2020 - 31.12.2026

The project aims to further increase access to finance for small and medium scale farmers. It will do so by facilitating crop receipts securitization and thereby also contribute to local capital market development in Ukraine.The project builds on the successful experience of the first phase, which established a market for crop receipts in Ukraine.


Improving Tax Administrations in Latin America and the Caribbean, Phase II

This project will continue the partnership between SECO and the Inter-American Centre of Tax Administrations (CIAT) with the aim of strengthening tax administrations in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) by providing technical support and capacity building to four to six beneficiary countries.



Resilient Bolivian Cities

Bolivian cities’ exposure to natural hazards – mainly floods, flash floods and landslides - in combination with rapid unplanned urbanization is a huge issue: Bolivia has the second highest economic risk exposure to multiple hazards worldwide. To improve resilience of its cities, the government has identified key challenges it needs to address.


Urban Cadastre in Peru

Updated cadastres are the basis for efficient land markets and local economic development. Cadastre systems also enable municipalities to increase local tax revenues and improve urban planning, what is crucial for resilience against natural disasters and other shocks.


OECD Tax and Development Programme, Phase II

This project strengthens developing countries’ tax policy and tax administration with a focus on international taxation. The project will be implemented by the OECD’s Centre for Tax Policy and Administration (CTPA) through the development and implementation of international standards- the provision of guidance and data- and capacity building.
