To help people who are directly affected, Switzerland provides immediate assistance to families in urgent need and also supports them in rebuilding their lives step by step, so they are better prepared for the future. An important part of the project is that more and more of the aid is delivered through local Colombian organizations, ensuring that the support is close to the people and adapted to their reality and that response capacities remain in place for the future. This work complements Switzerland’s broader efforts for peace and development in Colombia.
