Background on the Artist:
Brigitte Schär writes books for adults and children and has been awarded numerous prizes, like Nomination for the German Young Adult Literature Prize, 2002. As an artistic performer, she has been involved in many multimedia projects in the areas of dance, theater, video, and film. Being both a writer and an artist, Ms. Schär seeks to create an original and extraordinary linkage of her own literary work to her creation as performer. The result: fascinating multimedia theatrical story-telling performances and concert readings for both adults or children.
