While the access and quality of water services has improved considerably, the sector is characterized by high levels of non-revenue water and energy consumption as well as limited capacities related to these topics.

The construction of a wastewater treatment plant in Peja is the second project of this kind SECO is co-financing with Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) in Kosovo.
