Academic internships

The embassy of Switzerland in Pristina offers internship positions to highly motivated and qualified candidates.

Interns will work closely with members of the embassy in a variety of fields. A detailed job description will be determined according to the specific needs of the embassy.

The work ranges from writing reports, research for analysis, supporting the management of projects, organisation of delegation visits as well as administrative work.

All positions are full-time (40 hours per week; 2 weeks paid leave) over 6 months.

Recruitment for academic internship for six months 2022
will be done in Fall 2021. Interested candidates should submit their

Requirements, conditions of employment and application


  • Swiss citizenship
  • Enrolled in a university-level programme or graduated less than 12 months prior to the beginning of the internship
  • Proven interest in international cooperation in a relevant field (politics, economics, law, history, culture, migration, environment or development)
  • Good command of English and of two Swiss national languages

Conditions of employment

  • The embassy offers a modest remuneration
  • Interns must shoulder all personal costs and expenses, such as insurance cover, travel expenses and accommodation costs
