From 2–10 December, the Swiss Women's National Floorball Team will participate in the World Floorball Championship in Singapore. This is the second time Singapore is hosting, with the first being in 2005, a memorable year for the Swiss as they won their inaugural gold medal.

The team, led by Head Coach Oscar Lundin, has since then seen a rejuvenation and is optimistic about this year's championship. The Swiss team's group matches span from 2–4 December, with the quarter-final expected on 8 December. The climaxing semi-finals and medal matches are scheduled for 9 and 10 December.
