Position: Project Cycle Management Assistant.
Duration: 12 months, with possibility of extension
Workload: 50%
The objective of the position is to guarantee the smooth functioning of the financial and administrative management of the Cooperation Office. The position's responsibilities also include timely and punctual collaboration with partner organizations with regard to financial administration and/or running of programs.
Main responsibilities:
Finance & Administration:
- Monitor project finances in line with the Internal Control System (ICS), including those with fiduciary fund management, and prepare related monitoring reports.
- Review and validate financial statements and audit reports submitted by partners managing fiduciary funds.
- Record financial transactions in SAP based on reports from partner organizations.
- Set up project contracts in SAP following headquarters regulations, prepare Statements of Expenditure (SOEs) based on financial/audit reports, and close projects accordingly.
- Open new projects in SAP and manage project finances, including budgeting, reporting, and tax matters, in close coordination with project partners.
- Ensure prompt payment of all local staff taxes and submit required reports to the state tax authorities.
Reporting Line:
Reports to the Chief of Finance, Personnel, and Administration (CFPA).
Required Qualifications:
- University degree or equivalent;
- Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience with international development cooperation organizations;
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines;
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and diplomatic skills;
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication abilities;
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) and SAP;
- Fluency in English, Tajik, and Russian (spoken and written);
- Flexibility with working hours;
- Familiarity with SAP is a strong advantage.
Terms and Conditions:
- Employment contract for 12 months with potential for renewal;
- 50% part-time position based in Dushanbe;
