Community Service Workshops

The project has established one community service workshop in Bucharest in partnership between VEBO Switzerland, the Foundation FPSC and the Ministry of Justice in Romania. Within the project, a publicity campaign to further increase the use of alternative sanctions in the form of community service has been implemented. The project is part of the thematic fund security in Romania. Further information about this fund can be found among the additional information on the very bottom of this page.

OCHA Country Operations Horn of Africa

The humanitarian situation in the Horn of Africa requires coordination, advocacy and assessment capacities on different levels. Competent coordination capacities with appropriate staff and financial means are needed to address the complex situation - with persisting needs, the early recovery component, and an important number of humanitarian players, difficult humanitarian access and sometimes the challenging cooperation with the respective governments. OCHA is mandated with these tasks by the international community.
