Programme de Développement des Infrastructures Économiques et Marchandes au Bénin (P-DIEM)

Les potentialités économiques agricoles du Nord-est du Bénin restent limitées, entre autre en raison d’un faible aménagement des infrastructures économiques locales. Ce programme vise à améliorer cette situation par le renforcement des acteurs locaux publics et privés dans la construction et la gestion durable des infrastructures économiques rentables. Le programme met à disposition les ressources pour le cofinancement de deux marchés locaux intercommunaux et plusieurs infrastructures économiques communales.

Face aux enjeux du développement économique rural au Bénin tel que l’accès à la terre, l’accaparement des terres cultivables, l’instabilité du marché des intrants agricoles et l’accès au financement et à la formation, ce programme répond à un besoin d’outiller les organisations socioprofessionnelles agricoles et artisanes. Ceci pour leur permettre de jouer efficacement leur rôle d’interpellation, de participation et de suivi des politiques agricoles et artisanes favorables aux exploitations familiales paysannes et aux artisans-es.

Professional Training for Youth at Risk (Projoven - Honduras)

The project aims at social prevention of crime and violence by promoting better job and life perspectives for youth living in marginal urban areas in conditions with high exposure to crime and violence and at the same time with limited access to education, professional training and jobs. Improved quality and expanded coverage of professional training is expected to improve employment perspectives of young men and woman at risk of social exclusion.

Video conferencing in court proceedings and judicial management

The project shall make court proceedings faster, cheaper, safer, more comfortable and environment saving by enabling parties to attend court hearings over video conferencing. Therefore, 15 courtrooms and courthouse locations, 5 police arrest houses and 2 prosecutors’ offices will be equipped with video conferencing facilities.

Arij - Analyzing the Environmental Impact of the Separation Barrier in O.P.T

Support to a Palestinian Research Institution in performing field-based research to document the effects of Israeli occupation and land-appropriation practices on Palestinian livelihoods, in particular with respect to the environmental dimensions of the construction of the Separation Barrier. Furthering of a networked, peer-topeer collaboration among Palestinian Authority, Academic, UN, civil society and donor organisations in a delicate advocacy endeavour underpinned by principles of International Humanitarian and Human Rights Law.
