Treatment and rehabilitation of drug-dependent offenders

The project will provide drug treatment and rehabilitation services for drug-dependent offenders in prison or on parole and thus improve the criminal situation in Estonia. After the project closure the established drug treatment system will be continued and developed further by means of the Estonian budget.

El objetivo del proyecto I-SEMER (Iniciativa suiza para el Empleo y la Micro y Pequeña Empresa Rural) era la creación de 10.000 empleos para los jóvenes en cuatro gobernaciones menos favorecidas de Tunicia durante un período de 4 años. El proyecto superó su objetivo. Este proyecto, realizado en colaboración con contrapartes tunecinas, fue el primer apoyo operacional de Suiza en las zonas sensibles de la Tunicia posrevolucionaria.

Development of an innovative funding mechanism through the Water Benefit Certificates market

This project develops a market-based approach for financing water projects in water-stressed areas through the establishment of a standard with a project certification infrastructure – the so-called Water Benefit Certification (WBC) mechanism. Through this mechanism, private companies buy WBC’s from certified water projects. The WBCs then allow to finance the certified projects. The mechanism is developed through a public-private partnership with a wide range of corporate, technical and sounding board partners.
