Quality life of seniors in the Wallachia region

The project aims at an enhanced availability and quality of outreach and outpatient services in the remote border region of the Czech Republic to Slovakia. For this purpose, the mobility of social workers will be improved through the provision of sufficient all-terrain vehicles, social workers will be trained in modern methods of individualized work with residents, and appropriate equipment for the provision of high quality social services will be procured.

SuizAgua Colombia: Water footprint put into practice

The project applies the water footprint (WFP) indicator to monitor and improve water use and to reduce the impacts of the business sector. Companies in Colombia have endorsed a corporate social and environmental responsibility plan that includes steps to improve their water management. Additionally, a multi-sector approach is used for the application of the WFP in Porce river watershed.

Le Dispositif national de prévention et gestion des crises alimentaires est un mécanisme de coordination et de mise en œuvre relevant directement du cabinet du premier ministre du Niger. Cet organe finance des mesures de prévention, d’actions humanitaires et de réhabilitation qui préservent les acquis de développement dans le pays. Travaillant sur les facteurs conjoncturels et structurels, la DDC soutient cette initiative cruciale pour l’amélioration de la sécurité alimentaire au Niger.
