Korea and Switzerland moving a step closer to increase air connections

Both countries agreed to increase flight frequencies at Aviation Talks between the aeronautical authorities.

The Republic of Korea and Switzerland agreed to increase flight frequencies at Aviation Talks between the aeronautical authorities of both countries held on 17-18 January 2022.

Switzerland places great importance on its international connectivity to major cities in the world and welcomes the new potential for increased connections between Switzerland and the Republic of Korea in the future.

Switzerland considers the modernization of Air Services Agreements a cornerstone to support the expected growth of passenger and cargo demand after recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Close civil aviation cooperation between the Federal Office of Civil Aviation of Switzerland and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of the Republic of Korea will be further strengthened during the Drone Show Korea 2022.
