Polish-Swiss Forum for Health Dialogue

Health is a key issue for both Switzerland and Poland: the Polish government has made the health of its population and the improvement of the healthcare system a strategic priority. Switzerland, on the other hand, is home to some of the world's most innovative and successful pharmaceutical companies and has developed a unique response in the form of its decentralised, integrated healthcare system with compulsory health insurance.
The annual Polish-Swiss Forum for Health Dialogue provides a platform for bilateral exchange. Each edition reflects different topics that are currently the focus of debate. In around 13 editions, experts from various fields have discussed topics such as preventive medicine, elderly care, cancer treatment and data-driven healthcare. Smaller events have also been held as part of this commitment, such as the health dialogue on prevention, which was part of the official calendar of the Polish EU Council Presidency in 2025.
