Tajikistan is extremely prone to natural disasters.The reduction of disaster losses and improvement of people’s safety and livelihoods through disaster risk reduction (DRR)/management measures is part of the domain “Infrastructure/Water/Climate Change” of the current Swiss Cooperation Strategy for Central Asia. The (DRR Backstopping Expert provides thematic expertise to ensure quality of the Swiss DRR portfolio and DRR mainstreaming into the overall Swiss Program in Tajikistan.
