The Zanzibar International Film Festival (ZIFF), also known as Festival of the Dhow Countries, is an annual film festival held in Zanzibar, Tanzania. It has been described as one of the largest cultural events in East Africa. ZIFF is a non-governmental organisation established in 1997 to develop and promote film and other cultural industries as catalyst for regional social and economic growth.

The Embassy of Switzerland is providing general support to ZIFF 2023 and specifically to the "Difficult Dialogue" forum, which aims at creating an opportunity for stimulating discussions around important topics of relevance to filmmakers and the Tanzanian public at large.

A film by Swiss filmmaker Shyaka Kagame, Bounty, will be screened on Monday, 26 June at the Old Fort amphitheatre.

Location: Stone Town, Zanzibar
