Representation Agreement in Chicago

Please be aware that the Consulate General of the Republic of Lithuania does not issue any travel authorization for special necessity cases during the validity of COVID travel restrictions. Please send your requests to the competent Swiss respresentation. 

Valid for residents of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas,  Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin with the exception of:

  • holders of diplomatic, service or special passports
  • citizens of
    • United States of America
    • State of Eritrea
    • the Republic of Irak
    • Democratic Republic of the Congo
    • Federal Republic of Somalia
  • visa for which an authorization has been given directly in Switzerland
  • stays over 90 days (visa type D)
  • gainful activity (including chauffeurs and journalists)
  • medical purposes
  • official purpose, including attendance at international conferences
  • visa with limited territorial validity (except when linked to art. 25 (3) of the Visa Code)
