50km west of Hanoi City, in the Gam Troi arts valley, the 24 hour ”Dao Xuan Chin" festival will take place, uniting over 200 international artists, showcasing live performance art, installation art, music, dance, poetry and more. Switzerland will be represented amongst the artists.

The festival was conceived by Dao Anh Khanh, one of Vietnam’s most famous and internationally acclaimed contemporary artists and a globally recognised leader in the Asian art scene.  It is his vision to promote contemporary arts, build new audiences, inspire critical thinking and nurture a culture of debate through the Dao Xuan festival.

Amongst the many happenings, an experimental, electro-acoustic composition by Rudolf Eb.er, a Swiss artist, for sine waves, drones and noise compounds, completed with field recordings of the Gam Troi valley itself, will be performed and resonate along the valleys natural sound spectrum.

Rudolf Eb.er has been active working on extreme music and art since the mid 80s. With his Schimpfluch outsider-artistsʼ group and under the now obsolete moniker Runzelstirn & Gurgelstøck he combined radical cut-up de/compositions with abreactive aktionismus and ritualistic purification. Extending his studies onto psychoactive acoustics and examining aural hallucinations, he generates sonic environments into which he plants psychomagick spells and occult yogatantric practices.

Rudolf Eb.er lives and works in Japan.
