Join us in celebrating 80 years of diplomatic relations between Switzerland and Hungary! In 1946, diplomatic relations between the two countries were resumed after a brief interruption at the end of the Second World War. Since then, close and diverse relations have developed, which is reflected in the anniversary motto ‘Connected in many ways!’ and in the logo. Featuring the national colours of both countries, the logo incorporates the edelweiss and tulip, the national floral symbols of both countries, symbolising the flourishing and cultivation of diplomatic relations.
The following programme allows you to discover the multifaceted relations between Switzerland and Hungary.
