It was screened in the Directors’ Fortnight section at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. The film has been nominated for the Best Animated Feature Film at the 89th Academy Awards. It was also selected as the Swiss entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 89th Academy Awards, making the December shortlist.

The exhibition encompasses artworks from the collection of Alice Boner Institute - once the home of Alice Boner- and Bharat Kala Bhavan - a museum which houses a permanent gallery on Alice Boner. It highlights the contributions of this pioneering artist and scholar of Indian art and art history who made Varanasi her home for over four decades of her life (1931-78).

The environmental Film Festival “Quotes from the Earth” highlights environmental challenges at the national and international level through films. Over a period of two days, it aims to bring under one umbrella persistent and persuasive films from India and around the world. This year’s seventh biennial edition is supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and will show as the opening film “More Than Honey” from the Swiss Oscar nominated director Markus Imhoof.
