"Interdependence" is a unique film made up of eleven shorts. The stories, illustrated by 11 internationally renowned filmmakers, reflect the intertwining of relations between human society and the natural environment and how these are worsened by climate change on different levels and dimensions, hinting at possible solutions. The Embassy will present "Interdependence" at the Habitat International Film Festival.

Within the framework of Vigyan Samagam, the Swiss network in India presents a series of science and experimental films from Switzerland. These films have been to festivals around the globe and cover topics such as the work done at CERN, the subject of time, environment and climate change. All films are in English or are subtitled in English.
'Vigyan Samagam' is a mega science exhibition presented by the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN) and the Indian Departments of Atomic Energy and of Science and Technology. The exhibition explores the origins of the universe, the nature of the particles which constitute our bodies, and the power of fundamental science. Centered on CERN’s exhibition ‘Accelerating Science’, it will also showcase 7 mega science projects in which India is a partner.
Swiss artists Marc Lee and Markus Kirschhofer will premier a unique app based interdisciplinary project combining media art, lyrics, facts about population development and animal extinction at the Apeejay Kolkata Literary Festival 2020. Written in German, the Haiku poems written by Markus are translated in English by Erin Palombi.

Consulate General of Switzerland in Mumbai & Alliance Française d'Ahmedabad present stage poetry by Jurczok 1001 aka Roland Jurczok, a poet and a singer.

The Embassy of Switzerland and the Italian Cultural Institute are organising screenings of Swiss and Italian films during the Italian language week. Italian director Michele Cinque and Swiss Producer Villi Hermann will talk about films from Italy and Switzerland. They will have open interaction with audiences in Delhi and Kolkata.
The underrepresentation of women employed in the technical fields is well known. These developments affect Switzerland and India equally. A panel discussion, with stakeholders from both countries, will debate issues such as the need for gender diversity, how to attract more women into STEM education, the cultural and other challenges that women face in these fields, empowerment of women to get into tech etc.
Switzerland will participate at Dharamshala international film festival with the documentary film "Golden Age" directed and produced by Beat Oswald and Samuel Weniger. Samuel Weniger will also hold a workshop on "In search of a personal visual language" during the festival.
