Welcome to the Consulate General of Switzerland in Bengaluru! A relatively new Consulate General, we have been representing Swiss interests and fostering forward-looking collaboration between Switzerland and India since 2011.

We are also home to Swissnex in India, which anchors our strong focus on science, technology, and innovation. Beyond this, our work extends to promoting trade and investment, tourism, and culture.

Bengaluru, often referred to as India’s IT and start-up capital, is a hub of creativity, technology, and entrepreneurship. For Switzerland, where research, innovation, and education are at the very heart of our identity, this makes Bengaluru a natural gateway for Indo-Swiss partnership. Here, we connect Swiss excellence in science and innovation with India’s vibrant ecosystem, building bridges that generate opportunities for both countries.

We do this in close collaboration with the wider Swiss network in India, including representations in New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata.

Looking ahead, we aim to strengthen the bonds between Switzerland and India by building partnerships that are innovative, strategically relevant, and that bring tangible benefits to society. At the core of this work is our belief that collaboration across disciplines and countries leads to better ideas and further-reaching impact.
