Swissnex is the Swiss global network connecting the dots in education, research, and innovation. It contributes to strengthen Switzerland’s profile as a world-leading innovation hotspot. An initiative of the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI), it is part of the Confederation’s network abroad managed by the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. In its operations, Swissnex takes a collaborative approach, relying on public and private partnerships and funding.
Swissnex in India is a part of the Consulate General of Switzerland in Bengaluru and engages with a diverse set of stakeholders to identify the right people, institutions and topics, bring relevant partners together, and create the best outcomes. It primarily engages with the academic and entrepreneurial communities in Switzerland and India to foster the international exchange of research, opportunities as well as ideas.
